Soundtrack (TV series) - Wikipedia

Yes, you’re reading that right! It’s your FINAL assignment of the year!!!

It’s time to wrap up our reading of Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime and, after this week’s AP Language exam, the last thing we need is another test. Instead, we’re going to create a group “soundtrack” for the book.

First, bring to your final Zoom class — and come ready to upload to Google slides- and present — a photo you believe would make a good soundtrack cover/Spotify listing – and be ready to explain why. The catch? You can’t use photos of the book cover or pictures of Trevor Noah.
Second, select one song for our class soundtrack inspired by Part One of the book and one song inspired by Part Two — then write a 6- to 8-sentence “liner note” paragraph for each song they select, using the lyrics for and tone of the song and text evidence from the book to support your argument that those songs should be included in our soundtrack. Again, you will drop this work into our class Google slides doc we’ll use to discuss the soundtrack. (linked below) and you’ll deliver your work to our final Google form (again, linked below). And make sure you have your songs ready to play because we’ll play a bit as we enjoy our last class session together!

Finally, your  link to this year’s final Google form to turn your work in work for grading.
And that’s it. Come ready to post your work, discuss the book, play a bit of your songs, and enjoy some good music. See you next class!
